2025 Greater Columbia Wine Weekend Wine Tour

Red Lion Hotel Pasco

About this event

Join Us for the 2025 GRCR May Wine Tour

The Greater Columbia Region of PCA is  hosting morning tours and lunches through some of the Inland Northwest's wonderful wine regions on this multi-day, multi-meal, multi-region event.  Enjoy morning drives in your Porsche through the picturesque Washington American Viticultural Areas of the Walla Walla Valley, Yakima Valley, and Columbia Valley.  Feast on lunches of local fare and an opportunity to taste some great wines. (Washington Wine).  Finish the two days with a social gathering for dinner, car talk, and cheer in the Tri-Cities at a private Sunset Dinner Cruise (www.water2winecruises.com) on the Columbia River departing from Richland.  Please join us for all or select portions of this annual spring event.  The Sunset Dinner Cruise is a first for this event so don't miss it!

Friday - May 16th:  We will travel to Walla Walla for lunch at Brook & Bull, a winery representing Walla Walla region vintners and restaurateurs.  The tour will start at the Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center Pasco, 2525 N 20th Ave., Pasco, WA  99301, and end at Brook & Bull Cellars, 1249 Lyday Lane., Walla Walla,WA 99362.

For those who wish to join us for lunch at Brook & Bull, Chef Penny Addison, as in the past, will provide a wonderful menu.  Lunch is limited to 50 people and is $35 per person.  Additionally, wine is available, $20 per person, presenting a rose and a red.  Wrist bands for Friday lunch will be included in the “weekend packet."

After lunch, we plan on visiting wineries near Brook & Bull.  Of course, you are welcome to visit other wineries in the Walla Walla area (some past favorites are Saviah and Zerba, both nearby).  The wineries of this area offer inspiring views of the Blue Mountains, gardens, local artist creations, light food, and delightful wines.  Many wineries are asking for reservations, so plan accordingly.

Additional details will be sent out a week or so before the event for wineries at which we have made arrangements.  Each person is responsible for tasting fees after lunch.

Saturday - May 17th:  We will depart from the Budd's Broiler parking lot at 450 Columbia Drive in Richland for a morning tour around the area in our Porsches.  Our destination is the Columbia Garders Urban Wine & Artisan Village at 313 East Columbia Gardens Way in Kennewick.  During this drive you will participate in a gimmick rally with trivia type questions to be answered by each car.

Lunch at the Wine Village will be on your own.  There are several different food trucks in the area, there is a BBQ restaurant nearby and several of the wineries have food options.

At our lunch stop, you will be invited to participate in a "Tech Quiz" about Porsches in the Movies.

Following the Saturday lunch, for those who wish to further explore the wineries in the Kennewick and Richland areas, we can suggest a few of our favorites for you to visit.  Most offer beautiful landscapes, artistry, flavorful light snacks, as well as their unique wines.  You will be responsible for all tasting fees on Saturday including at lunch.  A list of wineries who welcome us will be in the “weekend packet”.

Saturday evening - May 17th:  This year we are featuring a private, sunset dinner cruise on the 74-foot luxury motor yacht, West Star.  The dinner is buffet style featuring dishes featuring high quality, fresh ingredients.  This dinner event will be limited to 90 guests and is $130 per person.  The vessel has available a full bar.  You will be responsible for your own drinks (no-host) purchased at the bar.

Lodging:  If you are interested in staying in Richland either Friday or Saturday night, we are working on arranging for a block of rooms.

THE WEEKEND PACKET:  Those joining us on Friday will be given the packet when we first see you on Friday, in the parking lot for those leaving from Pasco or at the winery for those traveling from other areas.  For those who do not join us on Friday the packets will be given out Saturday morning at the parking lot before the drive to the Wine Village.  If you are only going to dinner, you will check in on the dock at the marina to receive your name tag.  Name tags and wrists bands will be supplied in your “weekend packet."   There will not be wrist bands for lunch on Saturday since lunch is on your own.  Do not lose your name tag or wrist bands as there will be no food or wine without the appropriate wristband for lunch or your name tag for dinner.
